I would like to take this opportunity to express my thanks , that finally we have a company such as yourselves initiating a programme that has been a long time in coming, the safety of private hire drivers has become a growing concern, due to the amount of attacks on them seemingly increasing across many parts of the UK.

I myself worked as a driver in Sheffield, South Yorkshire as have many of my friends and relatives many of which continue to do so, but the one thing you can be sure of every week , the stories of what drivers have experienced in their day to day work particularly the weekends at night, we have many taxis now fitted with CCTV, whilst this is a deterrent to those capable of understanding the potential penalties, what about those that don't? or don't want to due to their aggressive nature, it is precisely on this point that the CCTV system has little if any affect, yes the offender maybe captured on film etc, but the damage may already have been done, that is where in my opinion and that of many others your security screen comes into its own and is by far and away the right route to follow in the industry as a whole.
